Review: DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation

As a self-diagnosed foundation addict, I buy and test out a whole lot of foundations. My latest foundation love affair has been with this DiorSkin Airflash foundation. I featured this product in my March Favorites post (just click here if you want to read that!) and I promised I would dedicate a full post to all the amazingness that is this foundation.

Price: $62.00 USD (70 mL)

This foundation claims to be a super lightweight formula that gives an airbrush finish to the skin. It can be applied by misting the foundation evenly over the entire face for a lighter application or with a foundation brush for a fuller coverage application. It contains "Mother of Pearl" pigments that are supposed to even skintone and diminish imperfections. This foundation comes in 10 shades. 

My Thoughts

First of all, I love this foundation. It is definitely one of the best foundations I have ever used. It is the most lightweight foundation that I have worn, but it doesn't skimp at all on coverage. It is a medium to full coverage foundation. It conceals and blurs every imperfection on my face and the best part is... it looks SUPER incredibly natural. The foundation photographs beautifully, as you can see above. There is no white cast and you really can't detect that I am even wearing foundation. My skin just look incredibly flawless and gorgeous.

This is the most expensive foundation I have ever used so I had very high expectations for this product and it definitely lived up to those. As far as application, I recommend applying it with a brush over just spraying it directly on to the face. The foundation gets into your hair if you apply it that way and you also get a lot of fallout, which is just wasting an expensive product. I like to spray this on to the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush or a flat top kabuki brush and buff it on to the skin. It blends out so easily and quickly.

In conclusion, I 100% recommend this foundation if you are looking for something to splurge on. My skin has never looked better than with this DiorSkin foundation on it. This is the only foundation I like to wear if I'm going out to a nicer event or an evening out. I especially love wearing it when I know I'm going to be taking lots of pictures.
